Job Description

The Senior Motion Designer is an expert-level position with team leader
qualities. The Senior Motion Designer is responsible for managing all client
requests with regards to the adaptation of a film and within an agreed
budget and timeline. Receive a brief and be able to evaluate technical
needs as well resources to involve. Organize and follow-up the post
production until delivery and broadcast.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or related experience
• 3-4 years of Editing experience
• Creative agency experience desired
• Deep familiarity with the digital environment
• Proven track record as a technical and/or creative team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional eye for design, motion, interactivity and video
• Proven written and spoken English & French skills

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of the audiovisual production and perfect knowledge of the complete technical chain of post production
• Good knowledge of the office software and quick learning to corporate
  collaborative tools such as workflow tools, plannings and tools to manage reviews & approval
• Easiness to understand a technical brief, estimate and quantify and define a budget
• Proven skills on planning, arrange, organize and delegate
• Advanced experience in video editing and compositing with After Effects and Premier
• Advanced experience in Adobe CC (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Average working knowledge of at least 1 of the following: Element3D, 3D Modeling & 3D Animation (Maya, Cinema4D)
• Basic knowledge in sound software (Adobe Audition)

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze the brief and client’s request.
• Upfront post-production, list and collect information and elements
  that are required to handle the adaptation.
• Organize technical means and staff resources
• Monitoring the visual edits session and guide the editor in their work.
• Understand technical specs.
• Be able to manage or coordinate the manufacturing of the final files before delivery and international broadcast (logistics and financial).
• Ensure the archiving of elements and the master.
• Proactively advise internal teams to optimize the post production process in order to reduce works and costs.
• Be able to provide financial reporting for the coordination with the
  agency.
• Maintain good work relationship and excellent communication with
  partners
