Job Description

– Working Hours: Shift system (on a rotation basis of 24/7)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides direct customer support.
  2. Attempts to resolve user problems without dispatching technical support staff when possible.
  3. Guides, advises and informs Help Desk Analysts as to appropriate procedures.
  4. Trains new personnel on use of the help desk system.
  5. Performs quality check reviews on tickets and voice calls.
  6. Maintains the Knowledge Base Articles on Service Desk Tool.
  7. Perform remote support regarding issues.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  2. CCNA and MCSE will be an advantage.
  3. Strong knowledge of operating systems and network equipment.
  4. Ability to communicate clearly via telephone, email, or chats and display strong listening skills to fully understand a customer’s issues and needs
  5. Able to show patience, understanding, and empathy with customers at all times to make sure customers are taken care of in a timely and respectable manner.
  6. Attentive to every details to ensure that every piece of the puzzle is in order to apply the best procedures when dealing with clients.
  7. Ability to multi-task within the Service Desk operations.
