Job Description
Key Mission:
The technical leader participates in the follow-up, study & design of IT projects. The position requires close collaborationwith the production teams to design, test, implement & improve infrastructures, solutions & methodologies for the department.
Key responsibilities:
- Plans & conducts technical analysis to answer customers & internal needs
- Understands & predicts threats & opportunities for customers & the department
- Performs infrastructure reviews, supports the delivery of innovative infrastructure, security & application solutions across multiple projects;
- Performs regular technological watch; participates in defining & implementing innovation strategies & plans (cloud/physical solutions, automation & industrialization, virtualization and back up and any
other technologies, project initiatives & efforts as required) - Recommends solutions & architectures that improve cost efficiency & reduce the overall level of effort
- Proposes development focus & prioritizes projects according to business stakes; helps with planning & executing high value projects within set deadlines & in respect with defined pre-requisites; reviews decisions & suggests adjustments whenever necessary
- Assists with problem analysis, proposes adequate solutions, provides time & resource estimates for
implementation - Identifies, tests & coordinates application of hotfixes/updates across relevant environments
- Acts as the day to day support for the department management, is a resource for technical inquiries, provides technical guidance & support for team members
- Follows-up on IT operations (help desk, change, configuration, release/deployment, planned
interventions etc.); ensures fair task assignments to teammates as per their availability, skills & career path; maintains regular account of own work time & mission status - Ensures that the best technical approach & practices are applied in all phases of the asset lifecycle; abides to company guidelines & standards; regularly reviews his teammates work & decisions to ensure consistency & alignment with the company’s vision

Technical Knowledge:
- Virtualization Software: VMware (Vsphere, ESX Server, Vcenter, Cluster and multiservers environment.
- OS: Windows server, Unix/Linux
- Back Up technologies (SAN/NAS) At least one of them
- Back Up equipment (SAN HP EVA, SAN EMC, NETAPP)
- Virtualisation equipment : DELL & HP Servers
- Switch Equipment FC : HP, BROCADE
- Network : router, OSI Layer, TCP/IP, firewall
- Database : At least knowledge in SGBD (Oracle, MS SQL …)
- Pack Office et Outlook
- Good written and spoken English and French
