Role:
The Software QA Engineer’s job will consist of ensuring Quality of the product by developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
He/She will be involved in designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. He/She will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
Ultimately, the role would monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards, relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.
Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues.

Essential Qualifications and Work Experience:

• A degree in IT/Computer Science. A Master’s degree will be a plus.
• Knowledge of validation testing (e.g.alpha testing, beta testing, user acceptance testing)
• Minimum 4 years experience testing web-based applications
• Experience developing manual test plans, designs, and scripts, with guidance, that have a high probability of finding defects with minimum time and effort
• Automated test development and framework experience
• A coding background in languages like Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Cucumber, Jest, Cypress, Selenium
