Vacancy: 2 x Senior Security & Hosting Engineer
The Senior Security & Hosting Engineer will work in a team which provides a secure .net application hosting platform and 3rd party applications for internal and external customers. The team also determines the design and implementation of all security components surrounding these applications and is therefore also responsible for a number of important infrastructure components such as Reverse proxy’s, identity and access management, Web application firewall, etc
Key Accountabilities
- Support web and batch servers and IIS
- .Net Server park monitoring and analysis through tooling (Splunk / Dynatrace)
- Technical maintenance of .NET servers and their applications on the different environments (dev / test, acceptance, production)
- Monitor the performance and stability of the .NET infrastructure and applications
- Implementation of SSO federations via SAML 2.0
- Implementation and design of application security through OIDC and Oauth
- Implementation and design of authentication methods (2FA, Digipass, certificates, one-time password, …)
- Support and guidance of development and their applications (troubleshooting, central logging via Splunk, …)
- Support and execution of load tests on infrastructure or applications
Expectations & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Detailed Knowledge of IIS 9 or higher
- Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019
- Knowledge of Windows infrastructure and networking is an advantage (AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN…)
- Understanding of general Web Security concepts (SSL, encryption, encoding, HTTP security headers, application firewall (WAF), forms authentication, cookies, …)
- Basic knowledge of .Net
- Experience with application virtualization platforms (e.g. Citrix)
- Experience with message queuing (e.g. Nservicebus, MQSeries, RabbitMQ)
