Role Overview:
The Accounts Officer ensures the accuracy and reliability of the company’s financial accounts. This role involves maintaining accounting records, monitoring provisions, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Record and allocate accounting transactions, including invoices and miscellaneous entries.

Monitor and update provisions, prepayments, and accruals (Opex/Margin).

Track fixed assets, depreciation, and IFRS 16 compliance; reconcile inventories.

Perform account analysis, regular reconciliations, and monthly justifications.

Monitor operational transactions, stock inventories, and budget variances.

Support monthly financial reporting, budget updates, and preparation of management presentations.

Prepare periodic tax and parafiscal returns (TDS / VAT / Corporate Tax).

Ensure adherence to internal control rules and assist with ad-hoc management requests.
Requirements:

Proven accounting and financial expertise.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Experience with multi-currency payments and administrative management.

Fluency in English and French.
