🚛 Job Opportunity: Transport Planning Officer 🚛

📍 Location: Riche Terre, Mauritius

Reporting to: Transport Manager

A well-established company in the contracting/manufacturing sector is looking for a Transport Planning Officer to coordinate and optimize transport operations across multiple project sites. If you’re experienced, organized, and ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Arrange efficient transportation for employees to and from project sites

Plan and coordinate timely delivery of materials

Maintain and inspect the inventory of all vehicle components

Keep detailed records of drivers and accident history

Manage allocation of vehicles and site equipment (e.g. containers, elevators, quadbikes)

Monitor maintenance and servicing schedules of vehicles

Ensure all vehicles are properly registered and insured

Investigate transport-related issues raised by staff or service providers

Follow up on claims, invoices, and payments

Handle licensing applications with legal authorities

Liaise with insurers on accident claims and vehicle repairs

Qualifications & Experience:

HSC or equivalent

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing or contracting industry

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Fast and effective problem solver

Proactive, well-disciplined, and challenge-ready

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
